  • The {Stamps} of Life eggs4Easter clear stamp set
  • 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" pink violet cardstock for base
  • 1 3/4" x 3" white cardstock
  • 2 3/8" x 3 1/4" dark purple cardstock
  • 3 1/8" x 3 5/8" yellow cardstock
  • 4 1/4" x 1" textured green cardstock
  • Crystal Stickles
  • Stampin' Up! Chocolate Chip Ink
  • Bic Mark It yellow blaze and lemon bliss markers

  1. The markers are alcohol based so stamp chickadee on white cardstock using a water based brown ink so the marker and ink will not interact with each other. If using water based markers use a waterproof ink instead.
  2. Color the outside edges of chickadee with the yellow blaze marker.
  3. Color the inside of chickadee with the lemon bliss marker.
  4. Wait for the lemon bliss to dry and apply a second coat to the outer portions of the body. This will create a slight shading effect.
  5. Stamp Easter Wishes on the green cardstock.
  6. Mount white cardstock to dark purple cardstock then dark purple to yellow cardstock. Leave an even edge on the top and sides but don't worry about the bottom.
  7. Fold base cardstock in half.
  8. Dry fit the chickadee assembly and the green cardstock. The green cardstock goes over the bottom edge of the chickadee assembly and the bottom of the green and the top of the chickadee should have about the same amount of border.
  9. Adhere chickadee assembly and green cardstock well so they stay in place when you glitter them.
  10. Place a light bead of stickes on the top and bottom edges of the green cardstock and the top, left and right edges of the other cardstock.
  11. Set aside and let dry.
