Supplies

  • 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" white cardstock
  • 3" square of white cardstock
  • 3 1/2" square of pink cardstock
  • 4" square of red cardstock
  • 5/8" red ribbon
  • Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Scallop Circle Set
  • The {Stamps} of Life Love2Hug Clear Stamp Set
  • Tsukineko Brlliance Pearlescent Poppy Dew Drop Ink Pad
  • Tsukineko Brlliance Pearlescent Orchard Drop Ink Pad
  • ColorBox Frost White Ink Pad

Directions

Note: All inks used on card are very wet and may take a few minutes to dry throughly. Handle carefully.
  1. Cut and emboss white square using the 2 5/8" (cut size) scalloped circle die.
  2. Cut and emboss pink square using the next larger scalloped circle die in the set.
  3. Cut and emboss red square using the next larger scalloped circle die in the set.
  4. Stamp circle of hearts from Love2Hug set in pearlescent orchard.
  5. Stamp largest red heart from Love2Hug set in pearlescent poppy.
  6. Wait for red heart to dry, then stamp "Be Mine" (or any other saying you prefer) from the Love2Hug set on heart using ColorBox Frost White ink.
  7. Fold base of card in half.
  8. Place base on piece of scrap paper and use largest heart outline and Pearlescent Poppy ink to make background by randomly stamping heart outlines on base. You do not need to stamp in the middle where the large red scalloped circle will cover.
  9. Adhere 5/8" red ribbon to back of the front of the card, centering ribbon on the card.
  10. Adhere tails of ribbon to front of card where they will be covered by the red scalloped circle.
  11. Mount white scalloped circle on pink circle.
  12. Mount pink scalloped circle on red circle.
  13. Mount red scalloped circle to center of card front.
